Please note that the Kampfgeschwader's are examined in numerical order, thus the higher numbered pre-war KG's are in Volume 2! I am sure the numbering system at that time reflected German desires to convince the World that the Luftwaffe was bigger than it actually was. I know that it has conf|About the Author|Doug Stankey and Henry de Zeng IV are both respected aviation historians based in North America. This series of books represents 20 years of research by the authors to produce this comprehensive work of reference.
