Prall|My nine-year old son insisted that we purchase the book after the author visited his school. He was captivated by the author's stories and presentation. I was worried whether the book, which is very factual and probably written more for grades 6-8, would hold a fourth grader's attention. It did! Kudos to|From School Library Journal|Gr 6–8—In this broad and insightful look at a less commonly examined aspect of the Pacific War, the narrative comes alive through looks at individual sailors and commanders and their particular contributions to larger even
